Meanwhile, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is more closely related to the execution of business processes such as contact centers, back office operations, customer support, and other operational activities. In the past, the boundaries between the two were quite clear. The more accurate answer is: neither can truly win on its own. In the AI era, the strongest model is the one that combines both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ITO provides the technology foundation, integration, and digital capabilities. BPO ensures that processes, governance, and delivery run consistently at scale. When the two are synergized, companies can build operations that are more standardized, more adaptive, and better prepared to scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This can be seen clearly in contact centers. AI will not deliver maximum impact if scripts, escalation paths, and quality parameters still vary across teams. ITO supports system integration and monitoring. BPO ensures that workflows and operational execution remain under control.
